FILM AUTHOR - MULTIMEDIA ARTIST - EXPERT OF MOUNTING AND POST PRODUCTION

 

             Graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan, from 73 to today, he is engaged as a visual artist. In 76 he was one of the founders of the "Militant Communication Laboratory" and since then his works have been exhibited in numerous Italian and international museums and galleries. For over a decade he presided over the International Center of Brera and directed his cultural, artistic and cinematographic and audiovisual productions. As a director of delegate, from 1984 to 1993 he directs, promotes and consolidates the technological innovation of the Cinecittà group (ROME) and is RAI director (RADIOTELEVISIONE ITALIANA) where he makes numerous programs, acronyms and videos. He teaches direction for several years at the Master of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and at the 24 hours Sun at the Vigorelli Center of the Province of Milan. In 1987/88 he was selected by the jury of the Desica award at the Venice Biennale. He is the creator and director of film festivals such as "CINEMA E 'INNOVAZIONE", film of the exhibition "The electronic image" of Bologna and "PROJECT LEONARDO" chaired by Francis Ford Coppola, Vittorio Storaro and Douglas Trumbol (Oscar for effects specials of the film "2001 ODISSEA NELLO SPAZIO") with which he collaborates on his film Show-scan "Il sogno di Leonardo". With the publications ("IL CINEMA DELL'INGEGNO", winner of the Fabbri Prize for the best essays, "IL GRANDE CINEMA EUROPEO" and "MILANO CINEMA PRODIGIO", Mazzotta Editore, some of which are present in the main libraries of national cinema schools , 23 feature films) is one of the first to experiment with virtual reality and digital cinema with the distribution of films such as "LA FABBRICA DEL VAPORE" (Municipality of Milan, AEM), "CACCIATORI DI STORIE.IT" (Rai 3) and "GOLIATH THE HUMAN BEAST" (Cinecittà - taken from the story "EL COLOMBRE" by Dino Buzzati). Six of his films, "THE CORDERIE DELL'IMMAGINARIO", "BEFORE THE FUTURE", "FUGA DAL PARADISO" (winner of the International Cinema and Ecology Award in Tenerife) "THE SECRET FRIEND" (against doping in equitation) , "IL BENE OSCURO" (against the brain drain) and "ITALIA AMORE MIO" (on integration and violence against women), were p Residentati of the Venice International Exhibition and three of which received the High Recognition of the President of the Italian Republic.
